Painter from Venezuela. A very personal quest to the inside of a universe of emotions evoked by his native land and by the “fatherland” in which he had lived. The artist, “filled with color from his most tender years.” has lived in France for a long time, developing a bipolar culture and tells us “my color takes from the unreal, becoming aware of what surrounds us and revealing a pictorial vision of an atemporal interior universe.” A whirlwind of colors and pictorial techniques which lead to a description of landscapes, from time to time full of material or evanescent in an atmosphere with multiple perspectives. Wilmer Herrison forces us to reflect on great themes of nature and space. A profound spirituality comes through in his paintings. The painter’s interior universe is revealed in a tension which seeks feelings and sacred emotions.
